At the tender age of 12, Wanda was introduced to heroin, launching a painful journey into addiction that would consume the next 14 years of her life. Trapped in a world of bondage, darkness, and spiritual torment, she experienced firsthand the devastation of addiction — the loss of identity, the destruction of purpose, and the erosion of hope.

But even in the depths of despair, God had not forgotten her.

Wanda’s journey reached a harrowing climax when she was clinically declared dead due to a drug overdose. While lying in a coma for eight days, heaven intervened. During this time, she experienced a divine visitation from the Lord Jesus Christ — a supernatural encounter that would change everything. She was miraculously revived and awakened, not just physically, but spiritually. In that moment, she knew that Jesus had not only spared her life — He had claimed it for His glory.

From the ashes of death, a new woman arose — called, chosen, and commissioned. Wanda surrendered fully to the Lord and began walking the path of deliverance, sanctification, and divine restoration. She received healing, was filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to understand the weight of the calling on her life.

What the enemy meant for evil, God turned into a powerful mantle.

Today, Dr. Wanda Wilkerson stands as a bold apostolic and prophetic voice to this generation. She ministers with fiery conviction, revelatory teaching, and healing grace. Her message is clear: “Jesus still saves. He still delivers. And He still calls the broken into greatness.”

She is the founder of Wanda Wilkerson Ministries and TCOR Apostolic International Ministries, and serves as a national and international preacher, teacher, counselor, and apostolic mentor to leaders and emerging voices around the world.
